July Intake: Also known as the Semester 2 intake, it begins in July and has a small number of universities that offer a few courses. Number of applications received is lesser than in February. It is the next best option for students after missing the Semester 1 intake.

Aside from these two main intakes, there are additional September and November intakes, which offer a limited number of courses. These intakes are rarely chosen by students because of the less number of courses offered. In addition, for vocational courses, admission occurs in May, July, or January. The deadline for each intake varies according to the university and course.

How to apply for Intakes in Australia?

Here are a few of the steps you can follow in any Australia intake Month application:

Prepare all your documents

All required documentation, including transcripts and test results for English competence, must be presented by the students. The student must finish their high school education (12th class) before enrolling for a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, students must finish their bachelor’s degree if they want to apply for master’s degree programs.

Apply to your preferred university

For a seamless procedure, the students must submit an application to their top institution by September 1st. You must include all required documentation with your application.

The institution takes two to three weeks to review applications from overseas applicants. The institution issues the student with a conditional offer letter after evaluating their application.

Comply with the Offer Letter’s Requirements

Students often have to fulfill two prerequisites, namely GTE (Genuine Temporary Entrant) and outstanding paperwork, after receiving an offer letter. A Statement of Purpose and documentation demonstrating financial resources are included in the GTE evaluation.

The students must provide a 6-month-old bank balance that is sufficient to cover their tuition, OHSC (international health insurance), and a 1-year’s worth of living expenditures in Australia (21041 AUD). Students have about one month to complete the requirements.

Request enrollment confirmation from the university

After a GTE is issued, students must make arrangements for Overseas Healthcare Insurance (OHSC) and submit the first sum with the institution. The students will get their eCOE (Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment) within 3 to 4 days of the institution receiving the first deposit.

Request a visa

Students may now begin their visa application as soon as they get their eCOE. Australian visa applications are processed online. Students are required to provide all required documentation with their visa application, including evidence of enrollment (electronic COE), OSHC, Financial Statement, Color Passport Copy with Notary Attestation, Visa SOP, evidence of English Proficiency Test, and Academic Documents. Australia’s 650 AUD application cost for student visas will rise to 715 AUD on July 1st.

Complete the Visa Formalities

The HAP (Health Assessment Portal) ID will be created as soon as your visa application is submitted. Students must present their HAP IDs for health examinations at the hospital specified by Australian immigration. The results of the medical examination will be transmitted straight to the Australian embassy. The embassy will review the student’s profile before making a judgment. About 45 days pass throughout this procedure.

Reserve Your Flight and Departure

You may finally reserve your tickets for the February intake if your visa is granted. Make sure you purchase your tickets well in advance of the commencement of your course. And enjoy your experience via higher education.
