Mobile: Describe a useful object in your home that you cannot live without

Introduction

In every household, there are certain useful items, we become so used to that we cannot live without them. In my home, there’s one particular object which plays a crucial role in my everyday life and I cannot live without it.

What it is?

The object I am talking about here is my mobile phone. It is an important tool for my personal as well as professional life. To say it is a useful object I cannot live without is not an exaggeration.

How long have you had it?

I have been using a mobile phone for 8 years now. I received my first set in the year 2016. It was a second-hand phone used by my mother before me. At the time it wasn’t that important to me. But after a few years, I had to buy myself an upgraded model of the phone when I started working in an office. I have had this particular set for 3 years now.

What can you do with it?

The wonders of a mobile phone are known by all. I use it for numerous purposes. But my mobile phone is an  useful object in my home I can’t live without as I use it to complete my official tasks.   I am an investment broker so every morning I watch the stock news on my phone. The news gets telecasted at 9 am and I can’t watch it on my TV as I commute to my office at that time. Instead, I get those updates on my phone. Apart from this entire day I make client investments and keep track of stocks on the app available on my phone. Apart from these, my phone is important to me because after having a laborious day, every night I watch a movie to relax before I go to sleep.

How often do you use it?

As stated earlier, I use it very often. I spend a major part of my day working in the office so there are very few hours I spend without my mobile phone.

And explain why you cannot live without it.

Mobile phones have become a very important part of everyone’s life. I cannot live without my phone because as mentioned earlier I am an investment broker, and my day starts and ends with my mobile phone. If I didn’t have it, my business would crash as I wouldn’t be able to make any investments, get new clients or draw money out of dead stock. My livelihood will be at risk.

Similarly for personal use, I use it for entertainment on my day off. I live away from my family and they video call me every day on my mobile. I  also use social media apps to connect with people I cannot have daily conversations with. In today’s age when the world revolves around digital communication, I think it’s safe to say that my mobile is an indispensable object of my life.

Spectacles: Describe a useful object in your home that you cannot live without

Introduction

Everyone has an useobject in their home they cannot live without. Today I will talk about an object from my house that is important to me.

What is it?

Here the important object I am going to talk about is my spectacles. It is a crucial item for me to continue my day-to-day activities without hindrance.

How long have you had it?

It’s been 4 years since I have had it. I first got glasses when I was in 12th grade just before lockdown. I felt irritation in the corner of my left eye. My mother took me to an eye specialist. He ran a few tests and said my left eye is a bit infected because of radiation from digital gadgets and I will have to wear spectacles to protect my eyes from further damage.

How often do you use it?

I use it daily. I am a student and I use the internet and YouTube to study apart from this I also watch a lot of movies on my laptop and television. So I have to wear my spectacles all day around. It is an object from my home I truly cannot live without.

And explain why you can’t live without it.

My spectacles are an important part of my daily life because without them I won’t be able to perform my day-to-day activities. One time I went to visit my grandmother and forgot to carry my specs along. My entire week was wasted as I couldn’t do anything. I was neither able to attend online classes nor watch movies with my grandmother. Since then I make sure to always carry it around with me. To say my specs is an object from my home I cannot live without will not be an overstatement.

Water Bottle: Describe a useful object in your home that you cannot live without

Introduction

In every home, some items become essential to our daily lives. We need them and their absence may disrupt our daily activities. In my house also there is an object that I cannot live without.

What is it?

The object in my home I can’t live without is my water bottle. It is a 4-litre bottle in pastel hues of white and blue. What distinguishes it from other water bottles is that it has litre markings from top to bottom. It is made up of strong borosilicate glass and not some harmful plastic. Thus making it eco-friendly and safe for health as well.

How long have you had it?

I have had it for 2 years now. I purchased it back in 2021 when I suffered from intense dehydration. My mother was worried and she got me this water bottle from some online selling platform.

How often do you use it?

I use it quite often. Every day when I wake up in the morning I drink water from it. After that, I carry it with me to my school where I use it the whole day. I refill my bottle from the water cooler in my school and then carry it with me to my tuition and then back home. It stays along my side from day to night.

And explain why you can’t live without it.

As mentioned earlier I suffered from extreme dehydration back in 2021. At that time this bottle acted as a life saver for me. I drank the prescribed amount of water from this bottle to cure dehydration. After I was cured, I still used this bottle to drink water. I am attached to it emotionally as it helped me get through a rough patch of my life. Ever since I use it all the time.

Another reason why I can’t live without this object from my home is because of the markings all over it. I drank the adequate amount of water required by my body which in return helped me attain a healthy skin and body, which is very important in today’s polluted world.

So because of emotional and physical attachments, I cannot live without this water bottle.
