It's good enough. I'm a senior here getting ready to graduate in 2021. I love the pretty campus and the simplicity of its layout. I also like the price. BUT there's some problems regarding the person in power *cough* rex fuller tlwhere he seems to make decisions to make the students as upset as possible. This includes the unnecessary price hike for online classes which doesn't make sense since building fees are still included as well

Nice place but the noise through the walls of a ac, generator or pump wouldn't let me sleep all night, even worse when you are sleeping next to the noise, plus the head aches. But it might depend on what dorms your in.

The dining hall is Awful even though they try their best so many people get food poisoning and the menu is lacking in variety and edible vegetables Almost everything looks as though it came out of a can. The housing is Terrible people being plagued with breaking heaters and mold And leaky windows The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors talking at a normal tone and decipher every word. There is absolutely no parties that are worth your time and if you want to have any nightlife your best bet is to go to OSU which is a $50 Uber ride each way. The community at the school is not nice amongst students Most people won't even smile back at you in passing. However I will say there is a lot of resources and a lot of kind people on the staff. Graduation is lower than the transfer rate and I feel like that speaks for itself after the first month of classes it seems as though 1/4 of the people in the freshman building moved out because the school is just not a great one unless you're specifically looking for a program that they offer I would go somewhere else anywhere else .

Very inclusive small liberal arts university with a small-town feel. Originally a normal college for teachers, the College of Education is well-known in the PNW for producing great educators! Located in the Willamette Valley, WOU is close to Albany and Corvallis, Salem, and just over an hour from Portland and the coast!

Just attended graduation, June 14, 2025. I've never heard of more faculty members beating their chest and bragging about themselves than this day. And what's with the spanish speeches? Really? Pssst...this is America. And the left wing political views are okay to chant about during this ceremony? Y'all need to be re-educated. Shameful ceremony.
