Beautiful campus. Wish the town's streets weren't so narrow...

Here on a Sunday morning. It is so peaceful and serene...almost as if I am walking on hallowed ground. I wanted to come for perhaps my last visit to Wahington and LEE University before it and Robert E.'s legacy is completely destroyed.

Thank God for Google Reviews. This place SUCKS. I am 33 and still healing from unbelievably horrible trauma caused to me by the students at this school, the professors, and also the school's overall "culture" (which is pretending it's not entirely white supremacists). Geez, where to begin: homophobes (got chased down in a truck on two occasions by frat boys calling me slurs), racist remarks from professors, especially Anna Brodsky in the Russian Department, and over lack of intellectual achievement here. If you are: black, low-income, gay, foreign, a girl...don't go here. Do yourself a BIG favor and don't go here. And guess what, their "culture" was changing when they lured me in with a full scholarship too. Nothing around a place like this ever changes. Don't believe them. Protect yourself at all costs and don't end up like me.

One of the most beautiful college campuses you’ll ever see. School stands out for its faculty who are dedicated to undergraduate education and its incredibly talented student body.

Just passed through while in Lexington, and it was very clear why it is considered very prestigious. It is a very pretty campus, with aged trees and bricks, many beautiful porticoes on the Southern-style buildings, and very friendly people. I enjoy the visit, and I would recommend a stop for either history fans or if you are a student looking for a university, this is a good candidate. Cheers.
