There is also a Learning Resource Centre with an open learning area and internet enabled PC's. There are also a number of computer suites for classes around the building. Many companies, including Alstom, Cable and Wireless, Jaguar Landrover, Rolls Royce and Telent, send their apprentices to this centre. There is a large workshop area for the Motor Vehicle courses with vehicles donated by manufacturers for use by the college and students to repair and maintain. There is a traditional engineering workshop, equipped with lathes, milling machines and grinding machines. There is also a materials lab along with electrical/electronic and pneumatics labs. The courses studied here are mainly engineering and motor vehicle based. There is also a 3D design area which has facilities for model making.

Unfortunately the construction department has only one qualified brickwork lecturer covering all campuses at the moment. Therefore I would recommend an alternative provision.

The Adult learning courses are a joke. I had to sign up 2 times online and still couldn't register until complained then the bug was fixed. Arrive for induction assessment and half the staff hasnt turned up yet and the have no record or idea who i am. They sit me on a computer to start the assessment and then proceed to argue two meters behind my back about not been able to find me and the missing staff been over an hour late. this was bad enough but the mouse and keyboard were sticky like a child had been playing with it and it also looked like someone had been rolling a joint there from the bits on the desk. i asked them to keep it down while people were trying to constraint and was just moved to another room while been told to calm down. After i finished the first exam i was told just to take the other English one with me and do it at home with no cheating. No mention of the maths assessment at all. How can the be trusted to come up with an effective lession plan when they cant even get day one sorted between 4 plus the lates ones. Been a person who is dyslexic but has never told anyone out of shame (only mother knows) Its taken me years to work up the courage just to apply for these courses and what iv experienced with just trying to enroll has dissuaded me completely from even trying and destroyed the small amount of confidence in myself i had left.

Do not send your children to this college. They can not keep your children safe. Anyone is free to roam around regardless of whether they should be there or not. They do not notify parents of incidents at the college. They then play down the incident which happened in plain site of many students. Seriously think twice before sending your child to this college

We signed an apprentice to Mechatronics however the put the apprentice on a MOET course. They did this KNOWINGLY because they did not have an electrical tutor. We have gone right through their complaint process which is to say the least extremely unprofessional and biased, with zero acknowledgement. I would not put an apprentice with them. WCG is a profit making organisation that only cares about money. I am happy to take calls from prospective clients of theirs.
