Excellent modern facilities. The town is pretty sparkling too... You can see investment is being made. Some homelessness but not on large scale and which city doesn't have this problem.

I’m Indian nursing student . I am holding an offer letter for the Feb-25 Intake of BSc Nursing (Top-up). I have already paid 50% of the tuition fees and am ready to pay the remaining fee. I have 28 days' old funds with me. Also, I completed my CAS Shield and there is no tab to record my interview. This university works very slow My classes will start on 3 Feb 2025 only few days are left . But they not inform me about interview . I sent many mails and making call on their official website and phone no still they ignore me why ???? Is this way to suppport international student?? If you don’t know how to work fast and professionally pls don’t give opportunity to international student to study here because u just waste our time and money . I suggest international student pls avoid this university

As a Sunderland grad, I honestly feel heartbroken for the 2026 students having their graduation at the Fire Station. This is supposed to be one of the most special days in their lives, a proper send-off before starting a new chapter. And for international students paying way more in fees, this feels even more unfair. What makes it worse is that students have to pay for every single guest—no free tickets at all? I get that money plays a role, but this just feels wrong. Graduation should be about celebrating students, not making them feel like they’re being short-changed.

Very neat campus with a swift response team. Loved the Library @ Murray and the SU gym. It's wonderful when sunny as it has a slope city view descending from Chester.
