Amazing TEDx conference is organized in this university every year with speakers coming from all over the world to share inspirational ideas and innovative solutions for global challenges. Highly recommended to attend both the event and the university!

Worst University ever. I studied masters from this university. They do not support their students at all. Very limited number of teachers. There were 2 teachers who were teaching us 2 different subjects in the same year. Their placement and career cell is worst. I have not received any help from them. University is scattered and do not have a dedicated campus. It seems to be a bunch of college buildings and everything goes from between. There is little to no diversity. Majorly dominated by two or three country students. University overall provides literally no help to students when they need one. They are just a money making machine. On the contrary, I have studied from another university in the UK. I don't want to take the name because then you might think I am promoting that university. But in short, that university was comparatively good. Although they also lacked good career support, but still atleast they tried to help. For international students, I would say, with change in all the immigration rules and shitty universities, do all the research before going to the UK for higher studies.

Attended for five years, didn’t learn much Small and poorly lit library Poor Covid response Construction noise from elsewhere on campus could always be heard during lectures/tutorials, better planning could have been done to ensure different rooms were used to avoid this

Some of teaching is embarrassing its that bad, results are literally never in on time, why should we have deadlines to meet when lectures literally never meet theirs. Taken on too many students, union and library packed most of the time. I have been a class rep a handful of times, pointless, they do not take feedback into consideration. And the feedback given from assessments is extremely minimal, therefore how can we progress if we don't know where we are going wrong? Do better!

I have found this university remarkable worth it to study, with great lecturer and all the materials support for student achieving their degree. Afterall, the glasgow city also provide some sceneric place to visit and enjoy.
