UNBC is a beautiful campus! It's amazing to be surrounded by so much greenery. I like how straight forward the layout is. The pieces of art showcased on campus is proof of how unique the campus is.

Beautiful and wonderful small university setting. The staff and faculty all are very welcoming and knowledgeable. This is a place to visit in Prince George but also a place to attend school.

Do not consider coming to this university for a Master’s or PhD program as an international student. Supervisors here often take advantage of international students, and if anything goes against their interests, you may find yourself stuck in a stressful situation with no support. The university lacks proper systems and processes to address such issues, leaving international students vulnerable. It’s simply not worth it.

From the countless encouraging anecdotes shared by neighbors and colleagues I know personally, it is merytorically clear that UNBC offers a high-caliber environment, particularly respected for its specialized Forestry programs and its highly successful Northern Medical Program. It is truly heartening to see how the institution maintains such a transparent and respectful focus on small-class sizes and direct student-faculty interaction, a quality that the broader community identifies as the key to its graduates' exceptional confidence and skill. Many acquaintances often emphasize the university’s sophisticated synthesis of its award-winning wood-focused architecture and its status as one of Canada’s best small research universities as a distinguished hallmark, proving it excels in providing a high-impact education within a cozy, personal atmosphere. Ultimately, in the collective view of informed observers, UNBC stands as a premier pillar of British Columbia’s academic identity, rightfully respected for its elegant ability to address complex global challenges like climate change through the unique lens of northern and rural experiences.

This is a great university. From the awesome faculty to the beauty of the area. The only downside for me is the lack of electric plug ins. There is only three on the whole campus. And that's for staff and students. So if you own an electric like me (which seems quite a few of us at the university do), make sure you're charged up before going to class.

This is an amazing place to study while you get closer to the north. I am happy to be here and most of all for being a grad student. We are all timberwolves! #UNBC
