Two years of my life spent living in one of the best campuses in Australia, which offered great living conditions, is very welcoming of international students like myself, great staff, security, facilities and amenities. Gave you the feeling of a suburban lifestyle within a naturesque world. Love this campus and I miss living here so much!

I am very disappointed with my experience regarding the refund process at the University of Newcastle. I submitted all the required documents, including my visa refusal letter, over a month ago, and I was initially told that the refund would be processed within 14 days. However, it has now been over a month, and I have still not received my refund. There has been a lack of proper communication or updates from the university’s side, and the delay is causing me unnecessary stress and financial inconvenience. I expected a more professional and transparent process from a reputed institution like this. I hope the university takes steps to improve its refund process and customer support for international students in the future.

I attended the Master of Business Psychology program with UoN between 2023 to 2025, years after having completed a Double Degree with another University years ago in 2012. I found the experience to return back to University Studies for Postgraduate an interesting and exciting experience. The MBP program has been very good and useful for my career development as professional management executive. I enjoyed networking with the diverse student population for the MBP and other postgraduate programmes. UoN is a cool place to study with and network with people from diverse backgrounds. For months they have been using new virtual parking permits while they kept their old signs saying permit to be displayed. It toke them ages to rectify the matter but during that, the uni was happy to issue fines to students for silly mistakes and they don't acknowledge they have done something wrong themselves. They issued fines for my son for silly mistake and state revenue declined the appeal , mislead by their in correct signage. The university didn't acknowledge their mistake, further they toke the matter to the court which waived the fines. (Before asking students to be strict by rules , you need to be following them yourself ).
