Yesterday I went to the emergency room with excruciating pain with RTW, very bad knee pain on the right due to a fall. Waiting for hours, the doctor was very unfriendly, moved my knee with his hands, screamed in pain...impossible. Waiting forever, no drinking, nothing. I had to be picked up from the emergency room at midnight. Once and never again. I cannot recommend this hospital to anyone.

University of Lübeck I had the pleasure of visiting the University of Lübeck Eye Clinic and I can confidently say that my stay was simply outstanding. From the moment I entered the clinic I received a warm welcome. The entire staff, from the receptionists to the nursing staff, was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They really cared about my well-being and answered all my questions patiently. The doctors who treated me were not only extremely competent, but also very sensitive. They took the time to explain all treatment options to me in detail and I felt like I was in the best of hands at all times. The combination of expertise and human warmth has enormously increased my confidence in medical care. I would also like to particularly emphasize the food. The food was not only tasty and varied, but also of high quality, which made the stay even more pleasant. All in all, I can only recommend the eye clinic at the University of Lübeck. Everything is just right here - from the friendly staff to the excellent medical care to the excellent food. I am more than satisfied and would come back at any time if I needed medical attention. Our daughter suffered a very complicated arm fracture. She underwent surgery at the hospital and then spent three days under observation in the children's ward. She's been in a cast for four weeks, and today they had x-rays taken and the pins removed from her arm - it appears all is well. There is still a need for recovery and rehabilitation, but the doctors have done their work at the highest level, for which we are very grateful.

Wonderful campus

This is a nice university. It's quite small which makes the interactions with professors more personal, which is definitely a pro for me. The food is cheap and tasty. But there are too few places where you can study in my opinion.
