Academic level is, as a rule of thumb, high to excellent (although this of course varies somewhat by the course of study in question). The buildings are quite old and it's a pretty big university. This means that everything is sort of quite impersonal, but on the other hand this is compensated by a very broad and deep academic field, which usually can't be found or only in lower quality at smaller universities. If one really wants to get an excellent education, it's usually possible here, although one should check in advance, what the reputation of the course of study in question is, especially when applying for a PhD study, but on average standards are high and education excellent.

I visited the University for an academic mission on May 2001 . It was really amazing to see such great and top scientific University. I visited several department and faculty and noticed their high academic quality. I enjoyed the welcome meeting arranged by the University's academics.

I have taught here for several weeks and it is a wonderful environment neither great students facilities and faculty.

This university website is horrible and not easy to navigate. I wanted to apply for a place at the university and three times my password stopped working. I sent an email to recover the password, they didn't reply for two days (which is supposedly an automated e-mail), when I clicked on the link to generate a new password they said they were going to send it to my email again and they took ages or didn't send it at all (again an automatic e-mail that takes days to arrive). I had to use another email and even then I couldn't complete my application as the website was constantly going down and I would lose my credentials. Because of these inconsistencies, I (along with other applicants) was given an extra day to complete the application, which is today, June 16, and even so, I'm very disappointed to say that the website is still down and once again I was unable to finish my application. I suggest you improve on this aspect because even if I managed to apply and get accepted, enrolling would have been a headache since the application alone is what it is.
