As an international student/researcher, my experience at university of Bremen has been deeply troubling. While the institution might boast impressive academic credentials, beneath the surface lies a highly toxic environment, especially towards non-German students and researchers. I've faced excessive mental and physical stress, compounded by discriminatory attitudes, lack of genuine support, and a general sense of exclusion. The atmosphere can be hostile, overly competitive, and indifferent to the well-being of international members of the community. If you're considering studying or researching at Uinversity of Bremen, especially if you're from outside Germany, be aware that your mental and physical health may significantly suffer. This university urgently needs to address its systemic issues around discrimination, support systems, and fostering a genuinely inclusive environment.

You can easily reach by public transport, ample space for parking. Get all departments easily.

Well built, well structured..wel planned.. The urban and rural planning around the university is amazing.

Very good Librie's cooworkers, very polite, kind and helpful. They supported and accompanied me in person, even though the application could be done online as well. They also told me about the opportunities I could have on other Bremen's Libraries and I had forgotten to ask them about this detail; they informed me about possibilities I didn't know thst I have as a foreigner here. From the first contact till the end of our cooperation today, they facilitated me a lot and saved a lot of my time, making so my day with their smile, patience and kindness..... I am very greatfull for those people!
