Troy University is a top university. We visited the campus after graduating over 30 years ago. Such fantastic improvements, especially in the music and fine arts. The football stadium is beautiful!

I played college basketball and we traveled to Troy State to play in your tourney in December 1969. I remember the beautiful, large Pecan trees that were in the campus. I remember throwing my duffel bag up where many pecans were visible. I collected at least 100. We did come from 8 points behind in the last two minutes and defeat TSU for the championship. We had a big banquet after the game. Two of our upperclassmen wanted to get back Springfield, Missouri to be with their wives, so we did not spend the night but instead drove all night. Are those big pecan trees still there?
