I attended Trinity as a graduate student between 2016-2019 and it was a life changing experience. I came as an international student and found remarkable support from professors, the ISSO office, Mosaic ministries and the student body. I liked my time there so much that now I'm an employee of TIU! Guess I could just leave this place

I'm in the TEDS graduate program. Very relaxed atmosphere on campus and during the times its not cold, the campus looks beautiful. The grad side has many middle aged people and families since the school has so many masters and doctoral students. The grad side is very diverse with people from different countries and ethnicities. Waybright center is where both campuses meet, even though they are vastly different. The undergrad side mainly consist of people fresh out of high school while most of grad side are older people out of school for a couple of year or more. Grad side male female ratio has to be at least 7 to 3 favoring men...undergrad is half and half. Professors are a mixed bag, some are very personable and approachable while others are scholars and act like they don't have time for personal matters with students...its like any university. Small campus but feels big when you always walk around. Train station is 10 minutes away by car...I recommend having a car since its a northern suburb with not a whole bunch to do if you stay on campus. Highly recommended school that does put a strong emphasis on the Christian faith in Jesus Christ.

Man, I love this school. I came in as a transfer student as a junior, and I love this place so much. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and I don't know if I would have been able to go through a successful transfer without them! I started at Northern Illinois, then went to Harper, and now I am here. Having experienced some different environments, I know that Trinity is my new home and that I will graduate from here happily :)

I am 35 and older for an undergraduate student. I’ve had several years of educational experience attending community college as well as a bigger commuter college in Chicago. I didn’t know teachers like these existed. They genuinely care about the students and their humility despite being well known scholars and thinkers is not of this world. I’ve seen the secular educational world and stepping into Trinity as a student was one of the most refreshing experiences of my life. I am in the Biblical studies program. Currently learning Greek and getting a strong Biblical education. It’s incredible to learn with some of these brilliant students and teachers. This place is for real.

The support and opportunities for our daughter have been extraordinary. When we started the process of “college shopping “ this school stood out as a fit. Professors have been very accessible and helpful. The upper class students have been great mentors. The entire system has provided challenging work, major focused internships and a solid network she can rely on. This school cares about your walk with Christ and prepares you to meet the world with the talents God has given you.
