I attended SHMS Certificate Program in Youth Ministry years ago. These over-the-weekend courses were amazing and attended by like-minded Youth Ministers, enthusiastic to learn, share and participate. Courses ranging from catechesis to multiculturalism were as diverse as the as the faculty and attendees. The setting of the Seminary offered a great learning experience for each weekend as it not only included the classroom experience, but room & board, offering a relaxed setting for learning, discussion, meditation as well as fellowship with staff with seminarians. All of this takes place on the beautiful campus and chapel in Detroit, MI.
