Loved when I went here in the 2000s, but just like every other college now. It's a nice school if you want to make your way and shine in a small school. Great school to build your confidence and experience, but not big technical/educational programs. They do have various continuing education certifications and graduate programs. The staff and professors were always nice. You used to be able to take several classes at Villanova and a few SEPCHE? schools nearby to 30min away. Not sure if that still goes. Here's pictures from 2022.

Rosemont College is a small, private liberal arts institution with a strong academic focus, offering undergraduate and graduate programs in a personalized learning environment. Known for its student-centered approach, the college maintains a 10:1 student-faculty ratio, fostering close mentorship and collaborative research opportunities. The undergraduate curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, writing proficiency, and interdisciplinary learning, with notable strengths in English, Psychology, Business, Education, and Biology. Rosemont also provides experiential learning through internships, study abroad programs, and partnerships with nearby institutions via the Tri-College Consortium (Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Villanova). At the graduate level, the college offers professional degrees in fields like Education, Publishing, and Organizational Leadership, often with flexible formats for working professionals. Rooted in its Catholic heritage and the Holy Child educational philosophy, Rosemont blends intellectual rigor with a commitment to social justice, preparing students for ethical leadership in their careers.

I'll preface my review by stating that every student needs to do their research and reflect on what they are looking for in a college. We have two college age daughters who attending two very different schools. I am very happy to say that our daughter who is attending Rosemont has found it to be the perfect fit for her and is thriving in the environment there. As a small school, Rosemont has offered our daughter a more intimate and personal experience that one cannot get in a big school lecture hall. The instructors and staff are very approachable, helpful and invested in the success of their students. Everybody working there seems to know everyone else and if one person doesn't know the answer to what you are looking for then they will put you in touch with the person who does. The school also has a really positive culture among the students, staff, and teachers. People say "good morning" and hold doors open for you and make you feel welcomed. If you're looking for division one sports, fraternity & sorority houses, a big party scene, or the other trappings of a large school then you won't find that at Rosemont. But it's perfect for the person who would feel lost in the crowd of a larger school. It's perfect for the person seeking a low student to teacher ratio, someone who might want to play sports but not at a D1 level, someone who would like to join some clubs & other activities and be a part of a wonderful community. Stating the obvious, but if you're looking for a school then do your research. Visit the schools and then visit your short list a second time, maybe shadowing some classes. It's going to be a big investment of money and years of your life so be diligent and invest in some pre-work before deciding. Good luck!

This is a beautiful campus and the highlight is the Victorian Chateau on the hill. Beautiful trees and shrubs all around.
