Sent our son there -- what a waste of dollars. They should not be called a Christian school. They have little to no ethics or consideration for other people's beliefs. The teachers have their own agendas and they push their own opinions. Save your money and send your kid somewhere else. There are a lot of choices OTHER than OC in Oklahoma!

Do you want to be shown the OPPOSITE of Christ’s love, and be taught to live the OPPOSITE ways he has directed us to in the Bible? Look no further! This school enjoys collecting fines from students and scrutinizing young adults, even going as far as to kick them out with no chance of finishing their school year or earning their money back, because there was a male student hanging out with them in their apartment. 8 years ago, that’s exactly what they did to me! Be careful not to have any opposite gender friends; they’re a big no-no to God apparently.

Bias Check: this is my Alma Mater. College is what you make of it. If you are a Christian (especially a Church of Christer), this is a great school. The faculty is excellent. The school is constantly trying to stay relevant while sticking to its beliefs and roots. The facilities get better and better every year. The smaller school atmosphere and residential campus make for a great community, where all the students a few minutes walk from each other.

Christian School? Well they dont teach Christian values! Or the students just dont practice them! They come flying out of the north entrance almost hitting me several times. Just no respect for their neighbors! Update. It's only gotten worse! Second update. I can only assume they encourage speeding through the neighborhood.

Overall, OC is a decent college, with a few obvious flaws. I'll do cons before pros. Cons: 1. Cost. OC has, by far, the highest cost of attendance in the state. Base cost is 28,000/semester 2. Christian in name, not in practice. Very little was done to glorify or preach the Bible outside of class. Chapel was rarely actually Bible related and more pushing announcements. Orientation was nothing short of a dance party. 3. Physical relations are prohibited but not enforced on campus, and they are blind to their students' actions. Students have openly admitted to me that they sneak people of the opposite gender into their dorm and make out, etc. There is also a park just north of campus where people go as well. Students go to 18+ bars and dance clubs. Pros: 1. Amazing professors. They cared about me, checked on me when I couldn't make it to class for health issues, made class as easy as possible with open book quizzes and in class homework, and explained everything in detail to my understanding. The only reason you don't succeed is because you don't ask. 2. Great engineering program. Cannot speak for other majors, but their engineering program is insanely good. They even start early with a fun activity to help you decide on the best direction in engineering to go. [Go mechanical, it's just math]. 3. Decent food. It's not perfect, but they got chickfula, which I had consumed so much of that I momentarily stopped liking it after the semester ended. 4. Great coffee/library. I'm not a big library guy, but if you need a book, they have a decent collection spread on 3 floors. Even have a kids section. But the coffee is amazing. It's cheap and open to the public, so it's worth the trip. The only wish was that they could sell half-gallon coffees. I would totally buy one. 5. Decent community. Whilst I am myself an introvert, the college helps pull you out of your comfort zone while not forcing you to. I had plenty of time to chill with my room mate, who was also introverted, and play video games and watch anime, whilst having many an opportunity to interact with fellow engineers, as well as music majors who are all extroverts, lol. 6. Gym/pool/basketball courts. All three are inside a building, and all are accessible to students, so long as you have ur student ID. Outsiders have to pay. But I could do push-ups and use the basic equipment there to get what I needed to do. 7. Biking is encouraged. They have bicycle bars to lock your bike everywhere. Every building. It makes the trip much faster. 8. I will end with this: at least 25% of the students are attractive, so good luck. These are my points. Do with them as you will.
