Ofsted needs to have a look at this college, their discriminating against people. They seem to think their posh, well we from North can definitely confirm there's nothing posh about Kent or the college. So we'll go back to Cambridge college. Please don't contact us again.

North Kent College is a very good college, I studied IT level 3 there and had a wonderful experience. The teachers were very supportive and helped through out my stay at college. Our timetable was also flexible and we did not have to come in every weekday, which gave me lots of time to work and do other things. The career advisor were very supportive and they guided me into getting admission into University. Overall, North Kent College is a very good college and if you are considering going, I will say you should.

In a few weeks, I’ll be finishing my studies at North Kent College, I studied Level 3 Computing, and I will be breaking down the best aspects and worst aspects that I found at the college, alongside what others have stated about the college. Firstly, people have stated the mental health facilities at North Kent College are inadequate, and in some areas, I would disagree. While I haven’t used it, I’ve heard that the college’s counselling facilities are excellent. However, I would agree regarding the coursework deadlines, which I will expand on later. Regarding the subject I studied, I would say the course quality was okay. Out of the eight teachers I had or was supposed to have, only three really knew the material, I understand that we do need to research on our own to some extent, but I would’ve appreciated more engaging lessons, and more technical insight, as arguably there wouldn’t be much of a point of attending these lessons other than a legal obligation. In terms of deadlines, as I said previously, my mental health when it came to assignment deadlines was certainly not good. And I believe this is because I had so little time to do so much, being expected to do 4000 words in two weeks alongside 3 other assignments is a lot of work, so I would certainly keep that in mind when applying for this college. While for some teachers, you could get extensions, most would refuse, because even if they did extend it, you’d be given more assignments anyways as we have to do so much in so little time. However, in terms of exams, I believe that with the right teachers, the exams were good, however, one notable thing that happened was that I requested to use a laptop for the exams, as my handwriting is poor, but this never happened, and I had to write the exam. In terms of the positive aspects of the college, while not perfect, the College shuttle bus is excellent. It’s free, and it’s relatively frequent, ranging from every 10 minutes to every 30 minutes. Additionally, the facilities are pretty good, it’s very modern and accessible for disabled people, the only aspect that could be improved is the security turnstiles, which frequently broke. To conclude, there are certainly some improvements that could be made with this college, especially in the quality of lessons, and deadline scheduling, but I do think it has great facilities and a convenient shuttle bus service.

Worst year of my life, one of my teachers is rude to me and other students. They have no respect and treated use like 2 year olds. The worst is changing the hand in date, losing 2 weeks and being told this the day before new hand in date, leading to lots of stress and work not being the best it could be. No one in my class likes our teacher because of the way we are treated. Not helpful at all, and did not care about getting the class good grades. Our main teacher was teaching use one day, and then the next we had all found out he had been let go, the same month of hand in leaving us with our other teacher. Another teacher I have had a quick nap in class, and the food is nice but overpriced. Can't wait to leave and to be treated like a human being again. After my complaint and others were ignored, I hope you see this and a warning to others not to go.

My daughter attended this college and was bullied everyday, when she notified staff nothing was done. My daughter threatened these bullies after so long and she was disciplined and suspended. The staff at this college are not good and do not protect the children
