I'm glad to see former students say that they enjoyed their time at NU. I taught here history for a quarter of a century and I found it a friendly atmosphere. Did I tell you about the free trip to India I got? If any students from my last year come across this, let me apologize -- I was sick and wasn't up to snuff.

I'm biased as I got my degree here but it's the one university I truly felt was right. The class sizes being small means I really connected with my teachers (some I'm now friends with on Facebook and even attended my business grand opening!). Also because of the smaller classes, we didn't have to compete to go on trips and we were able to bring friends from other disciplines along. North Bay is also a very safe community that is super welcoming to the students with an easy way to get around town. It's where I found my partner and friends for life. I loved it so much I stayed!

Absolutely love this University. Nipissing has so much to offer once you take your time to tour the school and the town! Beautiful gym and school facility especially the library. Lots of outdoor trails and activities available within the campus. Good community involvement and support especially for sports matches. Was a great environment to be in!
