Awesome Education for future Mariner’s!

The NSMV Patriot State is a long overdue and welcome addition to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

Very nice academy. Was on a small but nice campus. The food was really good but the dorms were not the best, and looked like I was in the 1500s.

Anyone whose children are looking for an academically strong marine science and maritime focused centered curriculum could not find a better place to tour for their future college students. So impressed with the list of degree programs, and they are adding certifications and liscensing classes all the time. The campus is self contained, professionally managed but student led studies abound, and the upgraded buildings and design, plus the new facilities coming (plus a new amazing sea faring Vessel) are gorgeous and State of the art for students moving out into the real world. NCAA div 3 sports abound, and hopefully, they bring back the winter cycle to add even more, with training facilities any SEC team would be excited to use! The structure of the military type schedule is manageable without being overwhelming, and the students never need to worry about what to wear except on downtime. Beaches and shopping are minutes away, but you feel like you are on your own little island. Look them up. It is a true diamond in the rough.
