The highlight of Lander University is it's size and the feeling of community. Classes are never over 50 students and can frequently be less than 10 students so the professors know you personally. Lander is currently expanding quickly so new services, classes, etc are being added every semester. It's location in greenwood means quick access to the essentials and is about an hour away from 5 larger cities.

I attended Lander University for 2 years until I moved away. I was involved in the Lander Dance Company while I was there, what a wonderful experience. Lots of great memories. It's an excellent university that I would personally recommend to any upcoming college students.

Former bio major and 100% satisfied. The teachers here could easily compete with professors at larger universities in terms of research experience and teaching ability, and the best part is the campus is still small enough for you to just drop into their office and ask questions. The school has grown lately too, but been able to retain the feel of a small college campus. Love it.

Previous student/worker for the university: Great small affordable college, only complaints would be the some of the dorms are not great, cafe food quality been going down for years (if you think it is good now, it was AMAZING 5 years ago), and internet is not the best on campus. All of which is nit-picking things. There are so many positives.

One of the best colleges, "diamond in the rough", "secret treasure". Excellent professors with a benefictial student/teacher ratio. Lovely for anyone to attend and very large student base of diverse cultures from many foreign countries. Great experience.
