Indiana Wesleyan won their Quarter Final football game today 24-13 and are headed to the Final Four of the NAIA National Championships next week !! Go Wildcats !! Sat in reserved seating row #1. The Chili and Hot Chocolate hit the spot on a cool late November Day. Sat close enough to get pictures of players faces inside their helmets with just my phone camera. Great to see even the losing team kneeling to pray after a hard fought loss.

It was an "okay" community on campus and overall experience, but was also very difficult to endure as a student. They outsource food services to a company that almost exclusively hires ex felons (not even that many students) to run all the food services on campus. As a somewhat picky eater, every day was a struggle there as often times the food was completely inedible due to not being cooked all the way. The courses do not prepare you for the real world very well aside from a few you may take at the very end. The location in Marion is also horrible. The town is very desolate and run down, and sketchy the second you walk off the campus. Loads of homeless people and abandoned houses. IWU is partly to blame for this as they often overstep and use their influence to control the town. They recently did not let a large beer bottling company to create a plant here due to religious obligations. So they actively make the community around the school worse, while claiming to help. If they wanted to help they could easily start by even handing out food to the homeless on nearly every corner of the city, but they never will. Instead they just spent millions to create a new basketball arena they really don't need that badly. The last president of the school before Kulaga proudly drove a white Lamborghini super car around the streets of Marion, which I have seen myself. They talk about following Christ's example all the time but rarely do themselves.

Absolutely LOVE everything about this school. The people are great, the campus is beautiful, and Barnes Student Center might be the nicest/coolest student centered building I have seen on any campus. Most of all, we were humbled and blown away by how Christ forward the Football program is. Ty and Good Bless you Coaches, students, and University!

I want to share a bit about my experience so far. I’m currently overseas for work, and my bachelor’s degree is from a country outside the United States. From the very beginning, IWU has been incredibly supportive, flexible, and kind. For me, good customer service was essential—and believe me, once you’re in, you can truly feel the positive energy and excellence in every department. They always do their best to help, and their response times are quick, which was really important to me. Additionally, they offer excellent discounts for military members and veterans. Jana supported me throughout the application process for the online Master of Social Work program, and I’m very happy with the decision I made.
