Came to this college for a basketball tournament. At $350 per team and $20 per person to spectate you would think they could afford decent nets. The basketball nets were barely hanging on the hoops.

It is in a beautiful area as Frederick is a great place to live and hang out. Most of staff cares about the students and small class sizes mean that you can know your professors and the staff. For the downsides, it's a smaller school that seems expensive for what it offered. As others have said, it is does emphasize the "Liberal" in liberal arts more than conservative views. The majority of the students fall into cliques. Overall, Hood feels like an extension of high school....decide if that's a good or bad thing

It was the first time I visited the College and likewise for the #baltimorecountypublicschools students who attended with me. The information provided will help our students make educated decisions in years to come. The faculty and staff were welcoming. The food is delicious. The The Campus is beautiful and clean. Great parking. Overall, outstanding event!

The Aquatics Center is very convenient for me. The pool has a semi rigid bubble and is environmentally controlled. The down side is you have to be flexible with their schedule regarding lane closures etc. For me it's well worth it.
