I've been attending part time for a couple years pursuing a graduate degree. Classes and curriculum have proved relevant to current times and my career. It's been a great experience so far in learning.

Is this a college? It looks like a failing business. My daughter was interested in this school, but after visiting the school, she changed her mind. The school is a parking garage. There is no campus. The school is 1 building, surrounded by other buildings. The college CANNOT expand if it is fully surrounded (where is this college future?) The college is also on probation and might lose its accreditation. This 1 building/ Parking garage is low quality and offers VERY limited majors. This is the "WORST COLLEGE" on my daughter's college list. Everyone deserves better than Harrisburg University. I don't understand how they are attracting students. They are probably accepting students with low high school GPAs or maybe the students are the children of the administrators. I don't understand this school, its a huge mystery. Students are NOT getting a real college experience at this place. Is this a scam or what? They don't offer anything worthwhile and they LACK in amenities (dining halls, campus store, bookstore), in academic programs, resources, opportunities, activities/athletics, and everything that equals a good college experience. The school has NOTHING. I smell closure. Can someone give me more insight about this school? (Where is this college going?)

I attended Harrisburg University of Science and Technologies', NuPaths program for Network Technician. 8 months, 3 days per week, on line course. Grueling for a working student. You are having your head stuffed with the equivalent of an Associates Degree, in 8 months. I made it...I have 3 of the 5 certs I was going for, BUT, I finished the course with very good grades. The instructors, where readily available, especially Dr. Mary Jane Fredrick! If you need to get trained and have the credentials to get a good and rewarding job, I do recommend this school. I will be goin back for my Bachelorettes of Science degree as a Network Engineer. This is my school now! I read some reviews on here from 6 to 10 years ago It seemed like Harrisburg University had some struggles in the past. But, I am very happy to see they overcame them and are offering quality, degree programs.

For Harrisburg University, I had my ups and downs with the school, but the negatives outweighed the positives. The area around the school: There are many homeless and loiters around, which is concerning. Also, the Strawberry Square plaza isn't the best, and stores close early. Housing application process: It was tedious because you had to fill out an application to the school and fill out another to a company called PMI, which runs one of the two dorms. You also have to pay a fee of $35 for each person on the application. The Dorms: Expect annoying mandatory housing meeting emails, inspections, and issues happening in your dorms, especially with bugs. The University: The place is primarily clean except for the windows. The professors are friendly, but expect some classes to be lackluster. There isn't a cafeteria or sports outside of e-sports. Student services: I mostly have bad experiences with them. I can't share flyers for the unofficial Uni discord without issues from the student service people. Lately, I've gotten an email since the school has problems with me, saying my discord, which allows people to tutor or get tutoring, is an issue since that's a service they already have. This server isn't official/isn't run by Harrisburg officials, and it's posted on the flyers themselves
