I was a student at Geneva back from 1996-1999. In 1996 and 1997, I got $2000 in Perkins Loans from them. In 2022, I went to go back for my MBA and it said ai had a loan in default and to call Geneva. I called and left multiple messages with them from November 2022 until January of 2023. Finally, in January of 2023 I got ahold of the lady that does the Perkins loans at Geneva. She said I did not have any loans with them so she was not sure why it said I was in default. She told me she would look into it and get back to me by the end of the next day. Well, she didn’t and I started leaving messages again. Finally in February of 2023 she got back to me and said she found the problem. My loan was put under someone else’s name, social security number and date of birth. That is why I did not know I had it anymore. This is 25 years later. This lady kept giving me the run around, Geneva has now sold this loan, in August of 2023. I have called her multiple times and sent emails. So now, I have to pay this $2000 loan, which is fine because its mine but I also have to pay $2600 in interest charges and there is nothing I can do. This loan would have been paid in time if they did not mess up and pit it under someone else. You would think a Christian college would work with you and at least answer your emails or phone calls. I do not recommend you going there or sending your kids. I regret giving any money to this school.

Received an excellent Christ-centered education here. Professors truly care about their students, and the student body is very welcoming and community-oriented. The curriculum gives you more than just career skills; it gives you life skills (and that's hard to find in higher education).

I received a top-notch education here. The administration truly cares about the quality of the Christ-Centered education being given, and the faculty embody that, taking a personal interest in their students' success. On top of a great education, there are many fantastic opportunities for students to express themselves and pursue their interests in the arts, sports, and other extracurriculars. The campus is beautiful and well-kept. I will always recommend Geneva as a great and safe place to go for a wonderful undergrad experience.
