I went here for a football game but I was late from taking photos of the campus and admiring it. It's a wide open space with historical buildings and easy access.

Actually visited this university this summer. All around beautiful. The tour guides were really nice and active asking questions. Definitely going on one of my lists of schools I would like to attend as a college freshman.

Security guard acted like I was crazy to ask to go for a walk on campus—this is apparently the first time anyone has ever wanted to walk on their campus, and it’s unimaginable to him. “Yeah no, not today.” I’ve been to countless universities, public and private, and never been told no you can’t come in. Inhospitable and out of touch. Clearly not interested in being part of their community. As others mention, there is nothing to warn that visitors aren’t allowed so I’m not sure why they are shocked when someone asks.

Update: still a great, beautiful campus... I hate the fact that I did apply for this school and specifically this campus, but some of the majors are on another campus. Plus the major that I wanted to take isn't taught at that campus. It's at another campus in a different borough. And night classes? Really? in a different borough? In person?...online is an excellent choice, but in person? No. Some people have limited transportation, especially buses in my area that don't run after 7 pm. I love this school but I can't.

I toured Fordham last Friday, and was really impressed. Our tour guide Emily was chill and very attentive to the groups needs. A couple experiences that added to my impression: The buildings are mix of old and modern, but all clean light and airy. We were also invited into a seminar style class, and I had the opportunity to ask real students and professors questions of their experience. Many down-to-earth people here, cannot wait to apply!
