I have literally never regretted a decision more in my life. Joke school with terrible staff and student employees that treat you like children shaped garbage cans. Never mind the other students there are so unstable and clearly stuck in a highschool mindset with zero maturity. My experience was genuinely horrifying and I had to drop out after my freshman year. Save yourself time and money, don’t go,

It's fine. Food is very meh. Academically pretty good. Residence halls are meh. There are worse colleges to get your degree from.

I was a student here for 3 years and I’m proud that I even made it that long. The best description of this school that I can give, is high school for adults and social work majors. Eastern says they are all abt diversity and inclusion and I say womp womp to that. UConn, just 15min up the road, is arguably the most diverse and high achieving school in New England. If you want the full college experience do NOT go here, for your own sake. Listen to me or listen to your peers say the same thing I just did over the course of 4 years till it sticks in your head.

It was an alright experience, but this University stops at nothing to beg for money after you graduate, as if you haven't paid enough while you attended. Prepare for non-stop phone calls, emails, etc. that you never asked for. They've even resorted to selling overpriced Alice in Chains tickets. Leave me alone.

Recently, our Family went on a tour of the beautiful Eastern Connecticut University campus for our son and we fell in love with the campus layout and the warm staff!
