It is a good commuting school. However if you're looking for a college experience and making friends go somewhere else, Im transferring from here but while I was there it wasn't horrible.

actually hell on earth. 0/10 would not recommend. my last year there i had a complete mental breakdown and the school did nothing to help me. they didn’t give any consequences to the students that were legitimately bullying me. they will not care about your mental health or your academics, just your money.

We went with our son who is accepted to Dean for our first visit. Truly a great experience very well run accepted students day.. The entire staff was exceptionally nice and friendly. My son loved the way he was treated and was so happy that he decided Dean is the place where he will thrive. Dean has good energy all around and if my son is happy so am I! He chose this college for the programs, the staff and the small hometown feeling. Very grateful for Dean staff making us feel so comfortable today and what a fantastic lunch! We are looking forward to orientation in June!

I just finished my freshman at Dean and I am transferring.I've had a bad experience with Dean since my student orientation. I was placed with a temporary roommate that made really uncomfortable sexual comments to me and also blasted heavy metal music throughout the night. Regardless i tried to remain hopeful, however I quickly learned Dean wasn't for me. I am a psychology major and all of other psych majors were in psychology for the wrong reasons and used class time to make tasteless mental health jokes and to vent. I do have to say I do like the professors there and the campus is pretty but residents halls are gross, in the summer my room hit 92 degrees and the school did nothing about it, the food is awful, there was a grill fire causing the grill to need to be replaced, however it took the school weeks to actually do it. Also there are no activities for students, no parties at all, and basically really clicky social groups. I am very glad I am transferring please make sure to really look into this school before you go

I didn’t go to school here, but I was in Franklin because the local library was having a petting zoo event, so I decided to walk around the Dean College campus after because it is right across the street. It is a small but nice campus. There wasn’t really anything going on, although that is pretty typical of a lot of college campuses during the summer and I assume that it becomes much more lively once the school year starts.
