CIU is a wonderful place to grow in Christ and to prepare for your future. Scripture is integrated in to every class and the staff and faculty are incredible role models and friends. Living on campus is a blast and there are so many great opportunities for friendship and leadership.

Avoid at all costs. The spiritual damage this has caused me has taken almost 10 years to get me back to being okay with entering a church without having an anxiety attack. It takes about a semester to see this place for what it really is. Yeah, the tours are nice and it feels like a place where God is at work... But it's really just a den of Pharisees. Trust the negative reviews. Don't let your kids come here!

Very nice school. Quality education. We have 3 of our children who graduated from here. All started at different schools. They are helpful with transferring and giving a quality education. When an issue came up I emailed the administration and got a quick response. We are thankful for CIU. They are reputable and offer an excellent education.

We had the most AHHHMAZING tour experience guided by the Dean of ICU, Scott R. Adams J.D. himself. I am so impressed with every aspect of this beautiful, immaculate campus. It is such a phenomenal learning environment for the students surrounded with walking trails, lakes, meditation locations, State of the Art Sports Fields, a beautiful Seminary, incredible Business School, IT School, Nursing School, etc.. Mr. Adams was so full of knowledge about everything we enquired about, so much so, he made me want to go back to school tjere!!!

The cafeteria is subpar, but the professors and community make up for it by a lot. Unlike most universities, CIU’s professors are personable and invested in their students’ lives. They will even get lunch with you or invite you over to their house! CIU’s program options allow for a lot of customization and flexibility, especially within the Bible program. Chapels are really good, and I especially love President Bill Jones’ chapels. My one issue with chapel is the song selection; they feel less like worship and more like self-centered feel-good songs. The dorms are spacious, but the bathrooms could use some work. Other facilities, like the prayer towers, the student center, and the library are well maintained and serve their purposes. The grounds staff does a phenomenal job keeping the campus clean and beautiful. The price may seem daunting, but after financial aid, CIU was my cheapest option by a long shot. I highly recommend attending.
