One of the Best Universities in Bangkok! Chula’s campus itself is a mix of historic buildings (like the iconic Phra Kiao auditorium) and modern facilities, sprawling over 1.5 square kilometers. It’s got over 38,000 students across 19 faculties, from engineering to arts to medicine, and its influence spills into the surrounding area, including developments like Block 28. The university owns significant land in Samyan, using it to fund scholarships and projects through ventures like this mixed-use complex.

The school's facilities are not too good; they're just normal. However, the teachers here are really great; they are very friendly, open, tolerant, and caring. They also respect students. The students here are quite friendly. What makes me feel the best here is that the food, especially in Cantin, is really great. I became addicted to Thai food after being an exchange student here for a month. The food there is good enough to walk for 5 to 10 minutes or take the school's free bus for 30 minutes to eat and skip my lunch break.

This university has the most beautiful facilities amongst the universities in Krung Theep within it's premise. It was originally started as the school for royal officers and originally located in/near the grand palace during the reign of Rama V. Until the reign of Rama VI, it moved to the current location where it is now and begun to open to the public to receive higher education. Currently there are 2 universities in Thailand where their certificates are recognised by many countries in the world : Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University. Happy experiences and happy memories of having the opportunity to study in this university.

The University has many specialty fields and has attracted many best students from various provinces of Thailand, and the University campus is well maintained and clean. Campus has numerous tall trees and a few ponds. Its young students are very lucky to have a very large cafeteria on campus, and cafeteria does provide many types of menus and food choices, from buffet style of food selection or pre-order-dishes-and-cook-on-site for the students. But it seems that quite a few students are so busy and rushed and, thus, they simply bought lunch boxes and ate at nearby desks. Students are also extremely lucky to have a newly-constructed dormitory or resident hall, although visitors can find that students do have freedom hang their laundry cloths on porch outside their rooms. Quite a freedom for dorm life. But I was surprised to see that students have to wear white-color shirts as part of campus uniforms.

The premier university of Thailand is a good spot to spend an afternoon and feel the vibes of the local Gen Z. The university is an oasis of tranquility but if the weather gets too hot, duck into Chula Book Center or the co-op!
