Nice school with friendly faculty. The program is not easy because it is about knowing yourself and your character.

When I moved to Boston, I knew I wanted to go to grad school, but there were so many choices and I was totally overwhelmed! I found Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis online, and they offered a variety of programs to supplement my psychology undergrad. When I went for my offical campus visit, I was pleasantly surpised at the level of attention I got from the faculty and staff. I'm looking forward to starting my first semester in the Spring, and especially excited about the small class sizes so I can get one-on-one time with my professors.

I've been a full-time student at BGSP for 2 years and I'm anticipating moving on to the doctoral level very shortly. I moved to Boston specifically for their doctoral degree in psychoanalysis, apparently the only one in the country. After my first visit I was surprised how friendly the faculty and staff were which confirmed my decision to attend. They even assigned me a student mentor who was a huge help in my adjustment to the school and the new area. I have found the classes to be challenging and rewarding in ways I hadn't experienced in my previous graduate school. Of course there have been some frustrations but nothing I hadn't dealt with before. I've found that the education at BGSP is specialized in training you not only to become a professional therapist but also a healthy person, and those match my own personal goals and values.

Please read student reviews and research the reviews of alumni. They seem to have graduated a ton of questionable and manipulative providers and even their marketing materials posted outside of their school seem manipulative and misleading. Would you trust a therapist engaging in marketing or a school that teaches therapists do so? It seems that a lot of the weirdos practicing in the Boston area have this school on their resume. Please keep your eyes open for manipulative and cult like unprofessional behavior from them or their grads.
