I had a great experience attending Bellevue University online. Yes, it's one of the pricey private schools, but they also have lower fees compared to other schools. I found the material challenging and I feel like I got my money's worth. The only negative thing I have to complain about is that unnecessary course that all undergraduates have to take. If I had known that I couldn't get out of taking the course from the beginning, I would've reconsidered another cheaper school. I felt like that was a ripoff.

I am attending Bellevue now. Key knowledge for applicants: They went the extra mile to accept my existing credits from a fully accredited school in the Midwest. I'm in the online program. Once you understand the drill, the process works beautifully. I work on my classes when I want to, I've learned key things for my degree, and they are fully accredited. This is a fantastic way to get your degree. I was ecstatic to see the Kirkpatrick series was part of the curriculum. Like every student, I want my study to work toward the future I'm planning in IT. But this should be a requirement in every school, starting in grade school. It's what's missing from most curricula. You get such generous acceptance of your existing credit hours, and it is so easy to knock out what remains that you aren't losing anything vs another school. Other schools will also have curricula to round out your education, but it's in something less useful. If you hate our country, you can always go to another school and learn to be a societal ingrate. They teach that everywhere. The cost is not the lowest, but somewhere in the middle. Everyone I've spoken to at the school is extremely helpful. About everything. Bookstore, Financial Aid, Student Services, etc. 8 years later: The fully accredited degree I received at BU has opened many doors for me. I've landed high level roles and my marketability is significantly higher. Often, the employer wants only to see a technical degree. It is also very helpful that you receive a semester of credit in the time ordinarily taken to complete a quarter. You can use this to complete 2 years of curricula in only one year. Regarding the Kirkpatrick Series: I didn't find it to favor any political ideology. Rather, it gets you thinking about the fundamentals of various ideologies. It helps you to understand why our founders were wary of any form of government, but ultimately decided it was necessary.

Institution pulls a bait and switch worse than a shady used car dealer. After you pay them 50$ to apply to the college they do your transfer evaluation of what transfers over for credit and then shows you what you would have left to get your degree. Everything looks great on paper. Then you enroll in the program and are told whoops those credits we told you would transfer aren’t going to and if you take classes anywhere else to get the hours you are now missing you will only get partial credit for hours when you transfer them. Out $50 after being outright lied to, do not make the same mistake as me.

Absolute joke of a university. Only go here if your work pays for it. Unprofessional counselors, mine took a 6 month hiatus out of nowhere, and I had to get a new one. THEN had to remind her I was graduating to actually order my diploma. They also forgot credits and added more to my degree without telling me. Thank god I'm done.

I am graduating with my Bachelors in August. My advisor Nakita was great and extremely nice. She will do everything she can to make sure you succeed. All the teachers give good feedback and they will work with you. You get what you give. Time management, learning the material given, and being able to follow instructions will set you up to pass. I had a few bad grades back in 2022. I took a year off and came back stronger, changing my major, and getting all A's and B+ for the remainder of my undergraduate. If I get all A's with my Kirkpatrick Series this summer than I will graduate with over a 3.0 overall GPA and my major GPA is 3.7. Point is you are the master of your own education. I will be able to pursue my master degree. I have grown so much from college in the past two years. I had my eldest daughter when I was 18. I was in poverty but I always tried to make it out. I went to trade school then I decided to get my degree. It was an adjustment going back to school when I was 25. I had my youngest daughter in the end of 2020 and wanted to go to school while I was a stay at home mom. It was trying to say the least. I had so many personal issues because life will always be life. I have become someone I can say without a doubt, my daughters could be proud of. I have become someone I can be proud of. No one else in my entire family has graduated college. I am able to confidently provide a future for myself and my family. I suppose not everyone has the same experience or likes the school but I will always be grateful to this university. I guess this was long compared to other reviews, but I really wanted to share my gratitude.
