A quiet university and I am sure it is a good place for studying.

It’s really disappointing that a large and prestigious campus like ANU is not secure at all. My son had his bike stolen while it was parked and properly chain-locked on campus. The type of lock he used is not easy to break and would normally take some time and effort to cut through, yet the thief still managed to do it without being noticed by campus security. Unfortunately, security was not helpful and didn’t provide any useful support or solution. As a result, he now feels traumatized and no longer feels safe or secure while on campus.

Visited the university during a short stay in Canberra. Heard it was Australia's top university, so had to make a visit. Campus is located in the center of the city with access to the newly built tram that's within a walking distance. University is well maintained and quite modern building infrastructure. There are a number of shops located within the campus.

Taking a stroll through the Australian National University (ANU) campus always offers a sense of tranquility and vibrant energy. The expansive and green Acton campus feels like a meticulously maintained park, harmoniously blending with the surrounding Black Mountain Nature Reserve and Lake Burley Griffin. Sullivans Creek meanders through the grounds, adding a touch of natural fluidity to the landscape. ANU's commitment to the environment is evident in every corner of the campus. Ancient trees coexist peacefully with modern architecture, providing numerous outdoor spaces for students and faculty to relax and study. Whether you're taking a leisurely walk along University Avenue or enjoying a book on one of the many benches, you can always find a peaceful spot to call your own. The campus landscaping is exceptional and very well-maintained. In spring, the campus bursts with colorful flowers, while autumn paints the leaves in stunning golden hues. It's not just a place for learning; it's a breathtaking living space. Beyond its natural beauty, the ANU campus is also imbued with a strong academic atmosphere. You'll often see students discussing ideas on the lawns or engaging in group study sessions at the cafes. This open and collaborative environment is one of ANU's unique charms. Of course, as Australia's leading research university, ANU is constantly evolving and developing new facilities. The new building designs are modern and environmentally conscious, blending seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment. These new spaces provide students with more advanced learning and research facilities. In conclusion, the ANU campus environment is a significant asset. It's not only beautiful and pleasant but also an ideal place to inspire creativity, foster interaction, and offer spaces for relaxation. Studying and living here allows you to experience the perfect harmony between nature and academia. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Canberra, don't miss the chance to take a walk around the ANU campus.
