About the course The degree for a Social Behavioral Science is a liberal arts multidisciplinary curriculum that teaches students about the foundations of human behavior and culture. Anthropology, History, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work, and Sociology are among the SBS disciplines. This program prepares students to transfer to a four-year school and gives them the foundation to work in the social sciences. General Entry Requirements
To enroll in a bachelor's degree program, students must have completed high school and submit ACT or SAT scores. Students who are transferring must also submit transcripts from any other programs they have attended. Students applying for master's and doctoral programs must have a bachelor's degree in a related discipline, two to three letters of recommendation, and adequate GRE scores. Those who have taken upper-level math and science courses have a leg up. A statement of intent, published papers, a personal interview, and, in some cases, a master's degree is also required for Ph.D. programs.

Clinical Behavioral health counselors are highly skilled and educated experts who conduct assessments of clients' mental health dysfunctions and therapies. A master's degree in social work or counseling from a school recognized by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs is required for this post (CACREP).
Specialist in Drug Abuse Correctional Treatment for Public Safety – This expert delivers individual or group therapy counseling for drug addiction and education within a federal correctional prison. Applicants must have a degree in behavioral or social sciences with at least 24 semester hours of coursework or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
