Introduction

My home is where I feel the most relaxed in is the balcony. It is a small and beautiful dine-in but you are so relaxed as soon as you enter it.

Where it is

I have a balcony that is an extension to the bedroom located on the 3 rd floor of the apartment we live in. It faces a park and therefore I have quite some fresh air and greenery.

What is the place like

I have adorned it with plants that are in pots, a wooden chair, and fairy lights. During the nights the sunset light shines in gold and makes it seem magical.

What do you do there

I always use to sit there in the mornings with a cup of tea reading a book or listening to music. I sit in it at the evenings doing the meditation or just watching the birds.

I am relaxed in that it gets me a break to the noise and the hustle and bustle of life. The new air and gentle sun makes me rejuvenate both mentally and emotionally.

It is my reading corner in the living room which is the most comfy place in my house, where I can totally relax.

It is a corner at a big window in our living room, and this receives plenty of natural light during the day.

I have an armchair and a small side table in the vicinity and a bookshelf. It has too a soft rug underneath my feet, and is thus ideal as a reading seat.

What do you do there

I read novels, journal, or drink coffee all day. Even on rainy days I can be found just staring out at the window as the water drops hit the window.

A silent area I can be with myself. It is my favorite place to relax because it has the combination of books, natural light, and comfort.
