Overview

The media informs the public of changes to federal rules and regulations so that everyone is informed. They could also teach students a lot. This resource can be used by a learner to get comprehensive knowledge of politics, history, and current affairs. News frequently doubles as entertainment, diverting viewers with details about distant places they can’t visit and have little control over. News spreading has a comparable impact.

What was the matter and who were those involved?

My father and I were watching a local news program together recently when we watched a segment regarding stocks. I was unable to understand the explanations provided regarding the graphics that were displayed on the screen. I thus asked my father to elaborate on the details and reasoning behind the explanations. He told me that the graphs in question showed the values of securities and shares, the main sources of equity generation for different publicly traded companies.

How did you see/hear it?

The truth is, I didn’t see it until just after I had eaten my dinner. My grandfather had already finished his meal; he seemed eager to turn on the television, so I have a sneaking suspicion that he ate faster than the rest of us on purpose. There was nothing left for me to do when I got home because I had finished my task during the school day. I watched the news on television and developed an interest in what was happening in the globe as a result.

Describe the reasons behind the interest in it.

I believe that those who are interested in news like this could benefit from the trading of those shares. I couldn’t help but feel the desire to ask questions and learn more about the concept, even if I was too young to understand it.

In summary

I happened to see a news piece, and that happened to be a chance event that made me realize how limited my knowledge was and how many different fields there were in the market. Right now, one of my main objectives is to pursue a finance-related higher education.

Example 2: Describe a Piece of Local News That People Are Interested In

Overview

I appreciate the cue card topic. This is the story concerning an event that recently began in our neighbourhood. The news reported on malnutrition and a few regions where diseases are rising as a result of it. I was drawn in by the article and decided to read it through to the end. They will be starting an NGO to provide for their food and shelter, it was also stated.

What was the topic of discussion? Where did you hear/see it?

We have a high proportion of poverty and poor nutrition, which is why the actor founded this NGO. There were a lot of street vendors living under the bridge and on top of benches. They will receive three meals a day from the NGO in addition to daily labour such as sweeping, cleaning, cooking, and washing. Even though they should do all of the tasks there, they will live in the NGO. They will receive all the necessary supplies, and a group of people will continue to live there.

Who Played a Role? and Describe Your Reasons for Being Intrigued by It.

Additionally, there is a designated place on the roadway where all stray dogs will be found. They have given them food and shelter. Additionally, they have set up a location where numerous animals can visit, dine, or stay. The NGO location is surrounded by a large number of trees and lush vegetation, making it a very serene area to sit.

There is a spot for people to sit and converse with them. In addition to helping them with their duties, many of the residents pay them frequent visits. Every time I visit the NGO, my school gang and I provide a hand with everything. There, we all chat, play, and enjoy ourselves. These days, several of the beggars work as drivers, couriers, etc.

Conclusion

The first thing that appealed to me about it was the wonderful actor who has accomplished so much; not many people wish to give their lives in service of others. I believe that everyone has a responsibility to aid those in need. The fact that they have to work for this and must serve them in order to exist is the second aspect of it that I found appealing. The concept of people working toward their goals appealed to me. Both the NGO and the article were excellent.
