It’s an exciting day for those who appeared for the CUET PG 2024 exams! The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the much-awaited answer keys today, April 5th. Candidates can check the answer keys on the official website, pgcuet.samarth.ac.in, and get a glimpse of how they might have fared in the tests.

The NTA has shared some interesting statistics about this year’s CUET PG. Can you believe that a staggering 4,62,603 unique candidates registered for the exams? And the total number of registrations across all papers was an impressive 7,68,414! However, not everyone ended up taking the tests, with 5,77,400 candidates appearing for the exams.

The exams were conducted in a total of 44 shifts, which is 16 fewer than the previous year. The NTA also mentioned that there were 157 different question paper codes, which gives you an idea of the scale of the operation.

You will be surprised to know that CUET is not just an Indian exam- it has attained global accolades. Students from all over the world appear for this exam so as to maximise their chances for studying in a rapidly advancing country like India. Moreover, given the fact that education fees is highly affordable in India, many students flock to the country to profit off the highly developed academic model here. The exams were held across India and even in a few international locations, such as Manama, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Ottawa, Abu Dhabi, Vienna, and Qatar, spanning a total of 572 different centres in 262 cities.

Now, as the answer keys are about to be released, the anticipation among the candidates must be palpable. It’s a significant step towards finding out how they performed and what the future holds for their academic pursuits.

CUET PG Marking Scheme 

In order to help you understand the marking scheme followed in the exam, here are some crucial points to keep in mind before you check the answer key. 

  1. Each correct answer carries 4 marks. 
  2. For each incorrect answer, there is negative marking of 1 mark. 
  3. There are no marks awarded for unattempted answers. 
  4. There is only one correct option for each question. 
  5. In case there is an error in the question, full marks will be avoided to students who attempted it.
