Which is more difficult to get into for engineering admission: America's MIT or India's IIT?

Both are tough, but IIT entrance relies on JEE Advanced, filtering over a million candidates for a few thousand seats. MIT, however, has holistic admissions, with global competition but fewer applicants. Statistically, IIT admission is harder.
