While work experience is not mandatory for GMAT, many universities and colleges require at least 2 to 3 years of work experience for MBA programs. However, if you wish to apply as a fresher, many universities also offer MBA fresher, a degree specifically designed for people who do not have work experience yet still wish to pursue an MBA program. However, it is always recommended that you acquire some work experience before you venture into an MBA program so as to familiarise yourself with the industry and have an executive degree rather than a fresher degree.
